Join us to help preserve and protect the remaining Forts and Batteries of the Civil War Defenses of Washington. Volunteers provide critical assistance in the maintenance and preservation of these natural, cultural, historical, and recreational assets. If you want to volunteer fill out the form below:
Volunteer to help at Fort Stevens Day, which will be Saturday, July 13, 2024 – we will need help with set-up, staffing, clean-up, and other tasks
“Adopt” a Fort or Battery near your home by regularly visiting and cleaning up trash, reporting fallen trees or other issues, and ensuring that the site is safe.
